Evaluation Post Question No 3

It is important to evaluate your work because it allows you to go over it again and see if there are any mistakes in it. By evaluating your work you can also see what has been put in and it allows you to review it therefore, if you originally put a scene in your video and you dislike it by watching over it again it allows you to take it out and put something else in this enables your music video to flow much better because you have had a second look. Also by evaluating your work it enables you to get a second opinion as well which will benefit your work overall because you have not just got your input you have someone else’s therefore, hopefully gets you a better mark overall.

We picked Youtube to showcase our music video because Youtube allows people all over the world to see our video. There are no restrictions on Youtube unless you want your video to be private therefore, our video will be able to be seen much easier. All you would have to do to watch our video is type the name of our song and who it’s by at the top of the page into the search section then it will appear. Youtube also allows you to receive comments from the general public with the comments button at the bottom of the video. This benefits our group because we are able to see the views from the general public and this allows us to find out what we did well and what we didn’t. By receiving the comments this allows us to review what they have said and if we agree with what they have said we can change our video before our final cut this is highly beneficial because if we didn’t use Youtube we wouldn’t be able to have made them necessary changes. There is also a like and dislike button on Youtube therefore, we will be able to see how well the video is coming across to the public through the use of that.

  1. Your analysis of question 3, demonstrates minimal understanding of why audience feedback is essential to carry out. This is because you have not included any comments that you received, which demonstrates the minimal understanding of why audience feedback is essential to receive.
